Services

Steady Path offers several unique classes and services for people who are interested in becoming more focused, disciplined, and aware of their mind-body connections.

Mindfulness meditation is a phenomenal way to improve your mental and physical health. There are definitely some stereotypes out there about meditation in general. Maybe you’ve been led to believe that meditation always has a religious or spiritual component, or it’s just a new trend that everyone’s capitalizing on, or it’s some kind of weird hippy “woo woo” with no basis in reality.

Numerous research studies have found that mindfulness-based interventions have positive impacts on mental health and physical health. There’s not room to list them all on this website, but if you’re interested, you can check out this recent Advances in Integrated Medicine article, this recent Clinical Psychology Review article, or this excellent book by Dr. Deborah Norris.

You can also check out some short videos by Dr. Deborah Norris as she explains the science of mindfulness meditation and how our brains are changed through consistent practice.

If you’re interested in learning more about mindfulness meditation and you’d like to work with me, please review the program descriptions on this page. I’m currently recruiting participants for two free group programs, and I also welcome individuals who want to participate in one-on-one meditation sessions with me, or who want to benefit from mindfulness-based coaching.

About Dr. Irvine

Thanks for visiting my site; I'm so glad you're interested in exploring mindfulness meditation and mindfulness-based coaching! I’m Mahri Irvine, and I created Steady Path Wellness because I’m committed to helping people learn about the benefits of mindfulness meditation. This form of meditation has incredible health benefits, and through consistent practice, people can transform their lives, feeling happier, calmer, and healthier. I started meditating about 15 years ago, and for the past 8 years, I have maintained a daily mindfulness meditation practice. I’ve noticed a profound, positive change in my mental health, including reduced anxiety, better focus, and perhaps most importantly, I have developed a deep, abiding sense of love for myself. If I had to sum up mindfulness meditation in just one sentence, I’d say that this style of meditation will help you learn to love yourself and transform your life, as you start to really listen to your mind, body, and soul.

If you sign up for classes or sessions, you'll be working directly with me, so please read through this section carefully to see if we might be a good fit.
